AS AN ACTOR

Starting at 17, CAST IN a PRIME TIME movie-of-the-week opposite helen hunt, AND A FOOTLOCKER COMMERCIAL AS A SKATEBOARDER… BY HIS 18TH BIRTHDAY HE WAS WELL on HIS WAY to numerous network shows including Party of FiveChicago HopeThe Profiler, the ABC hit series LOST, and more recently SEASON 4 OF THE Apple series For All mankind, the 2018 reboot of magnum p.i.— as well as, movies with robin williams, giovanni ribisi, judy greer, and SO ON. THROUGHOUT HIS 20S, HE WAS REGULARLY WORKING IN THE THEATER, STARRING AS THE LEAD OF BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE, AND NUMEROUS PRODUCTIONS AT SOUTH COAST REPERTORY WHERE HE ATTENDED THE CONSERVATORY, and more recently, in 2023 starred in the two person award-winning play, Constellations at the koa theater.

 

AS A WRITER

As a writer, his recent graphic novel sons of chaos, an epic historical retelling of the greek revolution of 1821, was published by Penguin Random house (English territories) and kaktos publications throughout Greece and Cyprus.  

Other notable writings by Jaymes include the original screenplay Unconditional which was acknowledged as a Semi-Finalist for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship Award, and his non-fiction book Boxing Day surrounding his experiences as an aid worker in the 2004 tsunami.

 

AS A DIRECTOR

his debut feature film In Memory of My Father attained 20 international awards and nominations including multiple Best Picture and Best Director wins, stimulating a string of projects including Long Story Short starring Martin Short, Making A Scene starring William Shatner and Cloris Leachman, The Cottage starring David Arquette, FOX Studios Netflix Original series, Bad SamaritansMile High for the Travel Channel, AND a string of films for Lifetime Channel.

 


AS A MUSICIAN

HE was the keyboard player for Capitol Records Recording Artist BAND, Bootstraps, with songs featured in Grey’s Anatomy, the 2016 Olympics, the Power Rangers movie and numerous others. HE ATTENDED BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC, STUDYING PIANO, PERFORMANCE AND ORCHESTRATION, AND ON HIS 21ST BIRTHDAY WAS ASKED TO TOUR WITH ROCKABILLY LEGEND, WANDA JACKSON.

 

AS AN OCEAN & ANIMAL LOVING PERSON

HE spends a significant amount of energy working for ocean and marine mammal conservation efforts including the non-profit Island Dolphin Care while developing his concept the Ocean Aquarium as a solution for the future of our oceans and the animals living within.

 

AND FINALLY…

Through the Covid-19 lockdown, Jaymes went to work for Sean Penn’s non-profit organization CORE implementing Covid-19 Vaccination and Test sites throughout the world, while also working with various studios and production entities to create protocols for safely going back to production.
